Most screen filters on our site can be washed in between replacements. It is recommended that they be washed every 2 weeks and fully replaced every year. Check your product’s description for details. It is very important to air dry your screen filters thoroughly before placing them back in your unit, as moisture can cause mold and bacteria growth.
Pro tip: Many of our customers choose to order 2 filter sets so they can put a clean set in while washing and drying the second set.
The anti-allergy small strip filters CANNOT be washed. These must be replaced in 3 to 4 month intervals for best results and to avoid bacteria growth. We offer many multiple Fresh Filter Packs to save you time and money when it comes to strip filter replacements. Be sure to keep a lookout for our packages when shopping!
